GET TO KNOW ME

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my practice, Open Gate Therapy. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that specializes in working with adults that are struggling with self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationships, or other issues that are causing stress in their lives.

 

My treatment approach is a mix of learning coping strategies to manage current issues, often referred to as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with discussing childhood, family relationships, and past experiences through a family systems lens. Our personal and family history impacts how we see ourselves, others, and the world today. The way we communicate, behave, and deal with emotions are developed over time and through a variety of experiences, good and bad. Being able to recognize these patterns and where they come from can help us create more positive and long term change. Thank you for visiting my page and I look forward to hearing from you!

*I currently work Tuesday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday from 10am-2pm. I offer both in person and telehealth sessions.
